PROPERTY AND APPLICATION
The chemical composition of R32 is difluoromethane CH2F2, which is very toxic and slightly flammable, and its safety level is A2L. R32 has the possibility of explosion, and its explosion limit is 14.4% ~ 29.3% [3]. The issue of lower flammability needs to be addressed in domestic air conditioning applications.
The cooling performance of R32 is similar to that of R410a. Under the same cooling capacity, the filling amount of R32 is less than that of R410a (about 30% less), but the exhaust temperature is higher than that of R410a. R32 has ODP=0, GWP=675, which belongs to green refrigerant and is an important substitute for R22. There is no need to apply quota to import R32 refrigerant.
At present, it has been widely used in household air conditioners in Europe, America, Japan and other countries.
